Forgotten Spaces Competition
Forgotten Spaces
RIBA London has teamed up with Design for London and developer and investor Qatari Diar to launch Forgotten Spaces, an ideas based competition that will highlight areas of left-over land in London and encourage innovative proposals for improving local communities.
The competition featuring cash prizes is open to students, artists, designers and architects in Greater London and will result in a public exhibition of the best proposals at The National Theatre on London’s Southbank (25 May – 4 July 2010).
Complementing the Mayor’s Great Spaces initiative, Forgotten Spaces seeks out under used areas of the capital, the places that do not yet have a place in the minds and hearts of local communities and explores their possibilities.
First Prize £5,000
Second Prize £2,000
Third Prize £1,000
Winners and shortlisted entries to feature in public exhibition at The National Theatre in May 2010 on London’s Southbank (24 May – 4 July 2010).
